“Crystal Chen was at an open home I attended at at one rental property which I was not interested in, then i applied for another property with crystal chen & without even viewing the property I signed the lease and in the process of signing the lease on the 15th of July I was not overly thinking logically, I was going though a financially abusive DV situation & didn’t even think about the rental price was furtherest from my mind given it would increase from $1280 per week to $1580 upon pool going being finalised by December, fast forward to the 18 July I transferred $2580 and sent her proof of the receipt, 4 days later on the 22nd of July I had a family emergency and flew overseas and whilst I spent time with my dying loved one crystal continued to push & harass me daily multiple times for bond payment & 2 weeks rent when I’d supplied proof in form of receipt & upon calling the bank whilst out of the country they said I’d had fraudulent suspicion on my accounts and due to being overseas they froze all my access to accounts until I’m back in Australia, I truly was not in a sound mind at all during this whole process an on the 27th of July was when I let crystal know I was not going ahead as I got this overwhelming rush of anxiety and was looking at alternative rentals before falling asleep that were much cheaper, crystal didn’t take my affordability into consideration, so I decided to get advice & called RTA who clearly said my financial affordability for a $1580 rental should have been looked at accordingly before crystal proceeded with allowing me to sign the lease agreement and we’re more shocked when I hadn’t even attended a viewing of the property I signed the lease on & crystal showed me zero compassion given I was losing a family member and proceeded to take me to qcat when my lease start date hadn’t even commenced and I’d made her aware 6/7 days before the lease was starting on august the 2nd an given my whole situation she lacked empathy compassion and now th”
