“David was an amazing resource and agent to help us relocate from NYC to Santa Barbara in the middle of the pandemic. He has a very thorough and nuanced understanding of the Santa Barbara real estate market, with the ability to answer detailed questions for the specific neighborhoods we were interested in.<br><br>His intuition also came to the forefront when acting as a sounding board after getting a better feel for what we were looking for as a family. That sort of information was invaluable to us -- while we were generally familiar with the SB area, we were not familiar with the market trends, general vibe (or changing vibe) of neighborhoods, and what was happening with all the new factors introduced due to COVID.<br><br>He helped us make a well targeted offer that netted us the property we were looking for. Once in escrow, he was extremely attentive and responsive to any questions we had as well as being a strong, yet professional, advocate for us during the process.<br><br>To top it all off, we used a VA loan which complicated matters a bit. It was our first time using a VA loan as our previous home buying experience was using conventional financing. Making sure the lender and VA had everything they needed to push the home buying process along really helped alleviate much of the stress of home buying, especially when it came to many of the details required in order to close.<br><br>Coming back to SB from NYC, it was really nice to have someone who was this responsive, attentive to detail, and constantly working behind the scenes to get things done (since relocating we are re-learning that many things in SB tend to move a bit... slower... absolutely part of the charm of living here, but not when you're trying to get a deal done). Yet he presented a calm and laid back attitude throughout, which made us feel confident in him and the process, overall.<br><br>It was a real pleasure working with him and we will heartily recommend him to our friends, as we likely will n”
